Notre maison

Our end terraced Cottage is a Grade 2 listed building in Cromford, a World Heritage site at the very edge of the Peak District National Park. Built circa 1780 it was once owned by Sir Richard Arkwright, it was a former weaver’s cottage. It stands on the main road that runs through the village. It has been sympathetically restored with stone fire place and exposed oak beams. The accommodation is on three floors, a living room and kitchen on the ground floor, double bedrooms on both middle and top floor, a bathroom with shower over bath on the middle floor and a further area with a single bed on the top floor. The kitchen has an oven and a microwave but no dishwasher or washing machine otherwise it is well equipped. The Cottage has full gas central heating and in the living room there is a multifuel stove. There is no phone or internet access but free Broadband is available at the local pub 'The Boat Inn'. There is a TV with DVD player. Outside there is a flagged patio area with a small garden beyond.
