PEACEFUL LUXURY BEAUTIFUL RELAXING are words that have been used to describe the Lodge.
The Lodge is a newly built 2 bed roomed Oak framed cottage using traditional materials including lime stone floors on the ground floor and carpets on the first floor We have under floor heating throughout the property & a Charnwood log burning fire for those cozynights in. It is beautifully furnished in a comfortable English country style with a mix of vintage and contemporary style furniture. You will have plenty of bathrooms to choose from as we have 2 in the Lodge and a third WC on the ground floor. Every facility that you need during your stay is on hand from sound surround high definition TV & home entertainment system through to dish washer fridge range cooker microwave etc. There is ample onsite parking for up to 10 cars and space for horse boxes. There are lovely views form the garden over the scenic vale of Belvoir. On a clear day you can see the castle 7 miles away. There is plenty of room in the large garden for relaxing and entertaining.

The property was built on the site of a much older property dating back to the 1500's but the area has been inhabited for thousands of years. We have found artifacts in the garden dating back to Roman times, The village is two miles from the old Roman highway the Fosse Way which for about 50 years marked the western boundary of the Roman Empire and linked Exeter via Bath and Cirencester through Leiceter to Lincoln.

  1. My husband and I love traveling and a few years ago took a career break of a year and a half to visit the USA Australia New Zealand and South East Asia. Having spent the last few years building up a commercial property development business and recruitment business, its now time to travel again although for shorter periods this time! This is a 'second home' in the village so we can provide non simultaneous exchanges. We have exchanged before and had fantastic experiences and would recommend this way to explore to anyone.! Please feel free to contact any time.
