Notre maison

BRISTOL VOTED BEST PLACE TO LIVE IN THE UK BY THE SUNDAY TIMES 19/3/17 .WHY NOT VISIT US?
Our home is a 1935 semi detached with drive to the side and a lovely garden to rear which includes a patio, lawn with a secluded quiet area at the bottom. We are not directly overlooked by any other houses. There is also a park with tennis courts immediately opposite and walks through lanes to Blaise Castle Estate.
We have recently completely modernized our kitchen and bathroom, which has a large bath, WC and walk-in shower. Our lounge and dining room are very comfortable and includes a piano...if you like to play and there are patio doors to the garden. The lounge sofa also converts to a double bed. There is also a downstairs loo.
Upstairs, as well as the bathroom we have three double bedrooms one queen size with pine flooring and the third bedroom is now used as a modern 'office'. We can go up again to the loft conversion which we use as a guest double bedroom (& is great for drying and ironing.)As it is so high up there is a lovely view over the garden. We have lived in our light and airy house for over 30 years and love the whole ambience.

Quartier

We are in a lovely leafy suburb of Bristol within 5 minutes walk of a ' village' which has a library, shops, coffee bars, restaurants and pubs. There are quick and easy bus routes to a large shopping mall and the city centre with its Cathedral, University, Zoo, theatres and harbourside. Bristol has everything a major city can offer and there are many parks and open spaces.
There is also a park with tennis courts immediately opposite our house with walks through the Blaise Castle estate. Durdham Downs and the famous Brunel Suspension Bridge and Clifton Village Boutique shopping are a short distance away.
Bristol is a beautiful, Maritime city full of history & culture. It has excellent road & rail links to London, Wales & the South West & it is close to Bath, the Cotswolds, Stonehenge & Oxford.
