Notre maison

We have lived in our very comfortable family home for 23 years and we love it. Although it contains many of the original Victorian features, it is thoroughly modern where it matters.

The ground floor has 2 reception rooms and a large comfortable conservatory in which we spend most of our time in the summer. One reception room is my treatment room and office but can be used to access the computer.

The living room is ultra-comfy with the biggest television you could wish for.

Our kitchen is small but up to date and there is a garden beyond the conservatory with a gas barbeque and garden furniture.

Upstairs are 4 bedrooms, 3 with single beds and and 1 double.

Unfortunately we do not have any beds for babies.

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. Chris and I (Glenna) are self-employed. Chris is an engineer and I am an Acupuncturist. We have had 3 exchanges to Ireland and France and have really enjoyed the experience.

We have just "discovered" Golf, 9 hole type, and would like to be able to play while on holiday.

For our exchange in France, we would like to be between Avignon and Menerbes, within a 30 minute drive of the Chateaublanc golf course where we were last summer.

Our neighbourhood is 1 mile from the centre of Bath, easily walkable and there are lots of buses as well. Shops of all kinds are 2 minutes walk away with an Indian restaurant and a pizzeria too.

There is so much to do in Bath, A World Heritage City, that you would never have to leave it, but if you want to further your horizons the Cotswolds are on your doorstep as is the famous (for slavery) city of Bristol with the award winning SS Great Britain steam ship. Within an hour also are Wales, Wells Cathedral town, Stonehenge, Avebury, Salisbury.

London and Stratford are 2 hours away.
