Notre maison

A light and spacious detached home situated in a quiet residential one way street and set in a small secluded garden. Our garden opens under the National Gardens Scheme (www.ngs.org.uk )and is within walking distance of Ashford town centre. We have three double bedrooms and a spacious bathroom with large bath and shower cubicle toilet bidet and wash basin and heated towel rail. The kitchen/dining area contains the washing machine microwave, electric hob, dual fuel double eye level ovens and grill, freezer and fridge. The kitchen opens into a large glass roofed conservatory which faces south west and is surrounded by the garden on three sides. The garden has two furnished seating areas with pathways and a lawned area. There is a carport and garage. Our home is gas centrally heated with radiators in all rooms and gas coal effect fire in the sitting room with a large corner sofa to relax on. There is a piano in one of the bedrooms. The floors are mature stripped varnished pine with rugs to some rooms and fitted carpets to others. The kitchen and conservatory have Italian marble flooring. We are now only interested in an exchange within Sydney for christmas 2009 inclusive of the New Year 2010. The risk factor must be equal. e.g. we are offering our 'primary home' .

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. We, Claire and Peter, are married and retired and have a Service (Army) and Civil Service (Local and Home Office) background and as a result are well traveled. We prefer to travel light and between the months of November to February. We have not engaged in a home exchange before but are interested in trying what sounds a great way to see another country as a resident and allow someone else to do the same. We would prefer to arrange an exchange in advance in order to get to know our fellow exchangers. Firstly via email in order to get to know the other party and to discuss the way ahead. We would only be interested in exchanges of longer than a week and would not be interested in France as we have family with whom we stay who live in Paris.
