Notre maison

We offer a large and beautiful apartment (4th floor) in the heart of Berne. It consists of two bedrooms, one with a bed of 180 cm, one with 140 cm. We can supply an airbed if needed. There is a study and one living room adjacent to a dining room with a large table for upto 12 people and a kitchen where four can eat. It's quite a big apartment with a large entry, high and elegant rooms with stucco work and an elevator that takes you right into the flat. All rooms are with parquet flooring of the 19th century. There are four small balconies (we always have a different view when we have an aperitif in the evening or a coffee in the morning) and a communal garden. Railway station, tram, bus, restaurants, swimming area, shopping, cinemas are reachable within very short walking distance. Airport Belp-Berne is very close, too. As we live very central we do not own a car and therfore cannot offer you with a parking lot. There is a covered car park very close.

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. We are a Swiss family with two sons (26 and 24 years). They may or may not travel with us or bring a friend along or we may bring a friend along instead. We are both professionals (health economist and hospital administrator). Meanwhile we are experienced homeexchangers and are keen to do it over and over as they all were fantastic and absolutely successful experiences. We love children, nature, animals, cities, beach life, are very interested in other cultures, spend a lot of time walking, discovering new areas and landscapes, we are keen cooks and like culture such as museums, cinemas etc. Furthermore we are doing charity work in our leisure time. Have also a look at Christa's blog to learn more about us: We answer all enquiries!

Berne is the capital and therefore the political center of Switzerland. Have a look There are many cultural activities and places of interest (museums, Zentrum Paul Klee, oldest zoo in Switzerland, River Aare, (great swimming in summer, look at, Mount Gurten, swimming area with free admission, parks, restaurants, cinemas etc.). Berne has a beautiful medieval old town (Unesco World Heritage) and is well known for its attractive shops. Berne is the door to the Bernese Oberland (Eiger, Mönch & Jungfrau, Interlaken, Grindelwald, Wengen, Mürren, etc. look at ) as well as to the French part of Switzerland (Lakes Biel, Neuchâtel, Murten and Geneva, the Jura mountains and the famous Romandie vineyards (Unesco World Heritage). You reach these beautiful places all within an hour by car or by using the excellent public transport system.
