Notre maison

Our home is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom (mes) uncluttered A frame lodge on one level with an open-plan modern kitchen, dining room and lounge set in a secure and private 30ha estate with indigenous gardens, sea and mountain views and its own forest trails. There are unobstructed views all around with the large balcony overlooking one of the most scenic view in Greater Cape Town: Hout Bay.
Shopping, restaurants, beach amenities are a 10 min. drive in Hout Bay. The most secluded and unspoilt Cape Town beach, Llandudno, is 2km away.
Cape Town CBD is a 20 min. scenic drive along the Atlantic Ocean or through the oak forests and vineyards along Table Mountain. Our "lock-up and go" lodge is ideally located to discover the unspoilt natural beauties of the Cape or to take part in the buzz of a vibrant historical city. One may spend a full month in the area and discover something new every day.

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. I'm Gerald,a recently retired business owner of French origin and my wife is Heather, a semi-retired teacher and full time Pack Scouter in the Scout Movement. Our home is in Johannesburg, but we visit the Cape at each opportunity. We have travelled abroad extensively, but are relatively new (5 exchanges and 5 successes thus far) to the home-exchange option and see it as a great way to broaden our horizons, experience new cultures and make new friends.
Our older son (34) lives in London and the younger one (31)runs a guesthouse between Johannesburg and Pretoria.
We will take good care of your home and we expect you do the same with ours.
