Notre maison

Our home is a 2nd floor condo with a view of the ocean from one of the balconies (the picture does not do it justice). There is a living room/dining room combination. The masterbedroom has a queen-sized bed and the 2nd bedroom has a full-sized bed. Our home will be perfect for two couples or a family with up to 2 small children (to share a bed). It is situated in the tourist area, located between Ocean Park and Isla Verde, but still has the Caribbean beat and flavor. It doesn't get more authentic. It has a beach access from the park, but this beach is rocky, so unless you want to fish or kayak, I would walk 5 minutes in either direction to get to a beach access with smooth sand. The park of our condo sits right on the beach and is perfect for entertaining.

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. Luis and I (Celeste) moved to San Juan about 3 years ago because of his company. We have a 3-year old, Sofia. I am originally from St. Louis, MO, USA and Luis is from Santiago, Chile. Our daughter is officially Puerto Rican. I have been a stay-at-home mom all this time. We will treat your home as if it were ours and our daughter is very well behaved and calm. We have exchanges planned for 2008 already, so we'd love to make plans for 2009 and 2010. I would love to see Yellowstone in the summer, Germany or France anytime, but we are completely open. We look forward to hearing from you!

This is a beach community so it is perfectly acceptable to wear a swimsuit or bikini with a sarong in the daytime. Lots of people have a second home in our community, so the winter is a great time to travel and meet like-minded vacationers. Our condo is just off the main strip so dress for San Juan's vibrant nightlife. There are plenty of restaurants and bars of every scale within walking distance from our front door. There are 2 areas for surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing that are considered some of the best in the world 5 minutes walk away. We are 5 minutes from the airport. Old San Juan, the 500 year old area the the Spaniards first settled is a ten minute drive. The area is rich in history and is really the place to find elegant dance places to salsa and merengue. If you dive or snorkel, there is a ferry ($2 per person) that goes to Culebra and Vieques. These are virgin islands, meaning there are no buildings, just beautiful nature. The rainforest, El Yunque, is a 45 minute drive. You pass an outlet mall, so on the way back, if you have energy left, you can shop. Plaza las Americas is the name of the mall here. It is a 10 minute drive. We'd consider leaving our car. We have a cat, Isis, who is very gentle. We can board it, but cat sitters are appreciated.
