Notre maison

Spacious and comfortable two storey family home only 7 minutes from Wellington city centre. Wellington has been described by Lonely Planet guide as 'the Coolest little Capital of the World'.
Spacious and sunny lounge, large dining and kitchen area seating up to 10 at dining table, modern kitchen, 1 large bedroom and study, spacious bathroom/laundry/toilet on entrance level. Downstairs has one very large bedroom which opens to garden, 2 double bedrooms and one single bedroom and a second large sitting/ family room. Two bathrooms each with toilet and shower downstairs.
We have wooden polished floors upstairs and carpeted floors downstairs.
The house is surrounded by extensive rose garden and has several areas for to enjoy outdoor living.

We are a married professional couple who have four grown up children who have thrived on their life in this house and in the city of Wellington. My husband loves gardening and there is ample room outside to enjoy the lovely garden full of old English roses. We both enjoy dining out at our exceptional variety of restaurants and cafes, movies, art, music and reading as well as travelling.
We enjoy travelling and this year with 2 'big birthdays' we would like to house swap in Italy (hopefully Tuscany or Umbria) for a month.
We love our and care for our home and would very much like to get to know those who we house swap with. They can be assured of a lovely house, neighbourhood and city in a beautiful part of New Zealand.

Our house is in a small cul de sac of 18 houses with excellent neighbours. It is within walking distance to our local neighbourhood shopping centre and also to shopping mall, library and medical centre.
Bus stops to and from city centre are situated just outside the house.
Wellington has a wonderful range of excellent restaurants and cafes and beautiful beaches within 15 minute drive. There is ample opportunity and access to outdoor activities such as walking, hiking, mountain biking, sailing surfing as well as movies and nightlife. There are several local parks and playgrounds nearby for smaller children.
