Notre maison

Our home is located on Waiheke Island, 30 minutes ferry ride from Auckland. We offer a warm, comfortable and inviting 3-double bedroom home with 180-degree views over the Hauraki Gulf. Only 2 minutes to the ‘Sandy Bay’ beach for swimming and 10 minutes to some of the best vineyards in New Zealand. Entering the house through the kitchen and adjacent sunny dining and lounge leading onto a large deck area with views of the island and sea - perfect for BBQ’s and chardonnays. Downstairs is a 3rd bedroom, deck and spa pool. A 4xWheel drive is on offer to explore local trails, luscious green bushwalks and nearby beaches. Hire bikes also available and plenty of activities to do on the island.

We are Neil and Daphne, a married couple, retired with 4 grown children that live in New Zealand and Australia. We have lived on Waiheke Island for the past 10 years and enjoyed sailing around the Gulf harbour. We would recommend the lifestyle on Waiheke to anyone looking for fishing, diving, vineyards, beaches and extensive views that an Island location can offer.
We are looking to travel as our first trip to Europe for approximately 3-4 months and would like to arrange an exchange so we can base ourselves and explore the surrounding countries.
