En savoir plus sur nous

  1. We are an English couple who grew up in Devon and Dorset. I'm Jon 47 working in tertiary education. A keen environmental activist, I enjoy outdoor life here - surf beaches are 30 mins away and ski slopes and mountains 3 hours. Tanya, my partner, is an ICU nurse working at the local hospital. Our lifestyle ensures we get to spend lots of time with our three childen Hattie 12, George 7 and Ella 3. We spent 1 year in Cyprus, 4 years living in Australia and now the past 6 years here in NZ. Our first exchange to two houses in France last year proved alot of fun!

The house is situated 300 metres up in the Kaimais which are a small mountain range (up to 700 metres) running some 180 kms up the east side of North Island. It's located in old growth park-like forest. We are completely private but do have a few friendly 'lifestyler' neighbours. Grounds and house are very child friendly with numerous outdoor play facilities. We've a collection of watersports equipment that can be used. Impressive bush walks are all around, and it's an easy 15 - 20 minute drive to Tauranga (pop 120,000) with its fantastic beaches and 2,300 hours of sunshine a year! Rotorua and visitor attractions abound is 50 minutes and the North Island ski resorts 3 hours.
