Notre maison

The house is a 4 bedroom Lockwood Home, situated in Acacia Bay about 5 km from the main town of Taupo. The walls are all from Pine, making the home warm and maintainance easy. We have 2 night store heaters which we use in the winter. We get a lovely view accross Lake Taupo to the Taupo town.

We have recently retired. Myself from Teaching and my wife from being a plunket nurse. We have 3 daughters and at this stage 2 grandchildren and another due soon.
We are keen on golfing, bridge and I also spend time fishing and have an advance knowledge of computer systems.
We also have a 4 bedroom house at Pukehina Beach. It is right on the beachfront. Pukehina is a small settlement about 30 mins South of Mt Maunganui (Tauranga). The swimming is good in the summer and we use it all year round for fishing, golfing and simply relaxing.
In 2009 we wish to travel to the UK and in particular visit my daughter in Wales

We live in a quiet Neighbourhood at the end of a cul der sac.

Taupo is well known for the lake and Mountains nearby. The lake and the rivers are well known for trout fishing.

You can get to the mountains and be skiing in just over an hour.

The environment is also very handy for hiking and many other outdoor activities.

There is at least 6 golf courses close at hand and many clubs exist in Taupo.

You are about 50 minutes from Rotorua a larger tourist centre with all its atractions and facilities.
