Notre maison

Our home is a beautiful, modern family home, with plenty of space. It has two large living areas which flow out to a large patio area with barbeque, four bedrooms; the Master having a beautiful tiled ensuite with double shower and large bath where you can sit and look out across farmland towards the mountains. The Master bedroom also has French doors opening out to its own patio The garden is still a work in progress with all hard areas done and new lawn going down in August.

We are Steve & Diane Lloyd, both in our forties. Steve a printer and Diane a local church secretary. We have three teenage children living at home. Josh 17 and twins Sian & Tiana 14. Diane was born and raised in Wells and is returning with her family for a family reunion, along with eldest daughter and two grandchildren who are aged 9 & 10.

Quartier

Rangiora is a rural market town of 11,000 people set in sheep and dairy country. It is home to several interesting older buildings, historical museums, an 8 hectare wetland reserve and golf course. Just a 30 minute drive away is the Garden City of Christchurch for those looking for the nightlife, pubs, clubs and restaurants as well as many other tourist activities. Less than 15 minutes away are our beautiful local un-populated beaches, rivers, bushwalks and mountain bike tracks. A little more than an hour away you have a choice of mountains, whale watching, swimming with dolphins, horse trekking, bungy jumping, jet boat riding (for the more adventurous) and the beautiful Alpine Resort of Hanmer with its thermal pools and spas for total relaxation. Not forgetting our local wine trails.
