“My wife, adult daughter and myself spent an incredible two weeks here during March of 2015. The rustic, comfortable and fully equipped cabin remains one of our best memories from the three month trip to NZ. The cabin has large windows that can be opened wide all around that allow you to take in the amazing views and feel the fresh breezes. In the evening with oil lamps and candles providing a soft light you just drift away into a time of your own. Lying in bed with the windows wide open, sea breeze blowing in while the rocks of Marble Bay roll back and forth drifts you into the most restful sleep you can imagine. Kayaks, fishing, nice hikes, a friendly little village and marina nearby all add to the experience. Really what is so remarkable is having meals, coffee or an evening drink on the glorious deck over looking the stunning views of the ocean, islands and rising or setting sun. The fantastic sand crescent beach feels like it is yours alone as we saw only two people the entire time. If you want to experience a wonderful, peaceful time in a very special place Elaine may be able to provide just that. Elaine met us on a couple of occasions in Auckland and she was most friendly and helpful in making our experience one we will always remember. We have traveled many places in the world and this is one place we would surely return to. The Wards”
