Notre maison

We are not able to exchange until after August 2007 due to business commitments. We offer a modern bright apartment with internal access to garage. Downstairs level has kitchen, combined dining/lounge room opening onto small paved courtyard, also toilet and wash basin. Laundry situated in garage. Upstairs main bedroom with queen size bed, ensuite bathroom with shower and toilet. Doors from bedroom opens onto small balcony. 2nd bedroom has single bed with pull out trundle. 3rd bedroom/office single bed with desk phone/fax etc. Bathroom with shower and toilet services 2nd & 3rd bedrooms.

We are a business couple from Brisbane Australia and this is our holiday home in New Zealand. We have travelled extensively over the last 25 years and like the idea of spending a longer time, hopefully 2 to 3 months,in a new country to appreciate the local culture.

Our apartment is located close to the centre of the city. A 20 minutes walk through Hagley Park and gardens to the main tourist centre with restaurants, art galleries, museums. A 10 minute walk to local shopping mall with movie theatres, cafes, supermarket, and a large variety of interesting shops including department stores. Christchurch is a good base for exploring wineries, hot springs, good skiing in winter, and hiking all year round.
