Notre maison

The apartment is part of an old building made of Tufo (volcanic rock common to the area) and is set back (up an alley) off the town square. The front door opens directly into the living room, the window of which overlooks the square. Ajoining the living room is a bedroom with king size bed. Another door leads to the small kitchen with table for 4 and on to bathroom and 2nd bedroom (2 twin beds). This room has a lovely view over fields and distant hills. The house has been redecorated throughout.

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. I am Linda,59, a single parent of two boys, Carlo 18 and Roberto 15. I am a director of a Payroll company, so find it a bit hard to travel as much as I would like. We live in a village near Oxford in England and come to Italy as often as we can. We love to ski, and I like to sail, so exchanges to anywhere that offers either of those would be good!

The square of this small town (2000 inhabitants)has 3 bars, a deli and 2 banks, so you only need pop downstairs for any necessities. About 12 km away is Lago di Vico, a beautiful lake in a nature reserve where you can swim in the clean water and without all the crowds of the beach.
Vejano is surrounded by well known Etruscian towns with many museums and necropolis to visit. Viterbo (capital of the province) is approximately 30km north and Rome is 58km south. Buses run from the square in both directions and there is a train station in the next town of Oriolo Romano. I love staying there because it is near to Rome for siteseeing and fun, but never oppresively hot because of being in the hills.
