Notre maison

I am a Los Angeles native that is finally living
the dream of having an apartment in Rome to escape to as often as I can. However, I have to work some of the time, which means my place in Rome is available for trade or rent whenever I am not there. I am simply in love with my apartment and have spent quite a bit of time decorating it. I had the studio redone from top to bottom and only retained the original fabulous murano chandeliers. Because the apartment is petite, I have used white with almost everything. There is a comfortable bed as well as a new white sofa that opens into a bed for guests. There is a white table that seats 4 right under one of the tall windows that overlooks the neighborhood.
There are brand new hardwood floors with a few
chic rugs added. The kitchen is completely
furnished with all white dishes and the like.
One of the best things about the apartment is
that it is in a secure building on the first
floor (second floor in American terms); which
means no hauling luggage up flights of stairs.
I also love that the kitchen is completely
separate and has its own dishwasher and washing
machine. There is a stereo systems with lots of
Italian CDs and the apartment is set up for
wi-fi if you need internet access.
Literally, all you need is a toothbrush.
Also for rent.

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. I am a single 52 year old travel nut and I have
been all over the world at least once. However,
my heart belongs to Italy and Rome in particular.
I am an actress in the theater business and own 3 live stages here in Los Angeles which lend me an enormous amount of flexibility for travel. I am also a designer and have furnished my homes with panache. I will always take very good care of your home and expect the same from whomever I trade. If you are just interested in renting either my home in Rome or Los Angeles, we can arrange a price and I can send you more photos.

I finally chose this neighborhood after years of
visiting Rome as a tourist. I used to live in
what is called the historical center and the only thing there are TOURISTS! So I started branching out and when I found this "quartiere", I jumped at the chance to have an apartment here. This area is called Salario and it's even a bit "snobby" because it's so desirable and is literally behind the Borghese Gardens and within walking distance to everything and completely safe. I mean, even the President of Italy lives here. Part of the reason it's so popular, is because it's still in the center of Rome but it's surrounded by parks. The two main parks are the Borghese Gardens and Villa Ada; which is wild and huge. All you runners and walkers. . . this is the area for you. There is even a gym right across the street that you can go to on a daily basis. I have made friends with the pilates teacher there and will hook you up if you want to take classes. Believe me, this is a taste of a real Italian neighborhood with one of the best cheese shops in Rome just a block away!
