Notre maison

It is our grandparent's house, where we lived for a period, old-style furnished and with all the necessary to feel comfortable and full of memories.. our grandmother used to embroider, and to cook also (in fact you can find many old laces and copper pots on the wall).
There is a kitchen with access to the covered terrace, a large living room where we eat when we have guests with a record player and some vinyls, two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two separate beds and both with spacious closets,a bathroom and a corridor.
The building has an internal courtyard to park the car.

I am a teacher at the primary school, I do modern dance, my husband Gabriele is a psychiatric doctor, who also paints and plays the saxophone.
My son Gregorio is 18, he loves playing the guitar, biology and in particular reptiles. My daughter is 21, she is studying philosophy at university and she is now learning french.
We have travelled together in Europe, it is our favorite way to spend our holidays! We are interested in history and art, but we also love to be surrounded by nature.
We have experienced several exchanges, in Denmark and in France, and they have always been wonderful experiences.
We are trustworthy and we believe in the sharing-way-of-life. We are openminded and in permanent evolution and growth.

The apartment is in a quiet building, in the historical centre of Ravenna.
In a few minutes you can reach every historical and artistic attraction of the city, which are a great number and very precious: S.Apollinare nuovo, Teodorico's building (degli Esarchi), the Teodorico's Mausoleum, the S. Francesco's Basilica, the S. Vitale's Basilica, the National Museum, the Ariani's Baptistery, the Neonian Baptistery, the Galla Placidia' mausoleum.
All of these historical buildings contains byzantines and roman mosaics.
There is also the Dante Alighieri's tomb and the archiepiscopal museum with the ivory desk of Massimiano.
You can also visit the MAR (museum of ravenna's art) , with a permanent and a temporal exhibition, next to the public gardens.
The station is 500 metres far away, reachable by foot.
2 km from the center of the city you can also find the famous S.Apollinare in Classe's Basilica.

Near Ravenna there are the two historical pinewoods (where Dante completed the "Paradiso").

There are 11 km from the sea, and the main enjoyable seaside towns are Marina di Ravenna, with the big port; then Punta marina, Lido Adriano, Milano Marittima, Cesenatico, Cervia, Rimini, Riccione.
On the North there is the Romea's road to Venice,you can also visit Pomposa's Abbey, Comacchio e Chioggia typical fishermen villages with their valleys, on the road.
Another nearby beautiful city is Ferrara.
On the South there is S.Marino's Republic and many beautiful medieval villages like S. Leo, Gradara, Monte Fiorino Conca, Mondaino.

About 7 km from Ravenna , there is also Mirabilandia and the Butterflies House.
