En savoir plus sur nous

  1. We are a 4-head family with an Italian mother, Paola, and Austrian father, Peter, and 2 lovely boys, Lucas and Simone (age 4,5 and 3). We "emigrated" both to Calabria for the love to the area and for a more quiet life-style. We are both free-lance trainers and consultants in the field of Non-Formal Education travelling regularly for our job. Also for that we love living in this calm and relaxing environment where you do not have to take an underground to get to the next sandbox - but you just walk down to your beach.

Localisation

Quartier

Our home is situated at the most southern point of mainland Italy. Its special atmosphere derives from the fact it is situated between sea and mountains. Aspromonte, the awesome mountain range with loads of canyons, rises from the seaside to up to 2000m altitude. The area is called "Area Grecanica" which has greek roots and in some mountain villages an old greek dialect is still spoken. The beaches are wide and offer a mix of sand and stones. Swimming is possible between May and October. Reggio Calabria as the major cities offering cultural and other urban attractions is 20min away.
