Notre maison

Chiavari lies in the Tigullio Gulf at about 20 kilometres from Portofino, and 40 from Genoa. Its district includes Sestri Levante where we can find remarkable artistic interest artistical heritage of remarkable interest like the Fieschi Basilica erected in the 13 th century. Fieschi dominated the country for five centuries. Today Chiavari is devoted to the beach tourism.
Its interland draws attention because of its landscape and naturalistic views. Fontanabuona and Valgraveglia with its famous slate quarries. The damasks of Lorsica are till today handweaved.
The proposed house is available for short as well as long time (several months).

En savoir plus sur nous

Localisation

Quartier

Liguria is a region that forms a horizontal line that forms an almost perfect arc wedget between the Ligurian Sea, the Apennines, and the Alps. A raimbow of beaches, historical villages, cities of art, hills and enchanting mountains dotted with nature reserves.

It can be crossed via various routes; the first and most obvious is the sea that can be navigated from one end to the other without difficulty, offering views of the inland heights and the seaside villages laid out along the coast.

The second route is the ancient Via Aurelia, laid out by the Romans and that forms a clear line, linking grand cities and villages from Tuscany to France. Finally, there is a hiking route at altitude, the Alta via dei Monti Liguri that passes through bush and snow-capped peaks, providing breathtaking views in the midst of unspoilt nature, inviting third millennium pilgrims to engage in solitary, interior reflection.

Further possibilities are being added to these three routes: the Balcony Trail which climbs up and down the Ponente, on the western side; the Greenblue Trail wich goes from Porto Venere to Genoa right next to the sea
