Notre maison

We offer a cosy wooden chalet style detached house in a moshav (small village type community) beside Rehovot. We have two bedrooms, one with a loft bed (we can add another mattress or baby bed if needed), and the other with a double bed. We have an open plan living room/kitchen with a dining table inside to eat, and a large table outside to eat on the deck where we spend most of our time in summer.
The large garden has large fruit trees including avocado, plums, mango, lime and more. We have a medium size dog and a puppy born in Feb 2016 (we can arrange for someone to look after them if you prefer).
With a shaded deck and outdoor BBQ, sofas and dining table, as well as a tree house and hammock, you will see that we spend much of our time outdoors.

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. Aileen, 43, from Scotland and Ofir, 45, from Israel, met in Australia... and 17 years later here we now live with Liam, who just turned 10.

Ofir works in IT and I take care of relocation the visiting scientists & international scholars at the Weizmann Institute of Science and am in charge of the student housing.

We have a 7 seater (Picasso C4) car which may be available.

We love to travel, and did a successful swap with a family from Amsterdam a couple of years ago. This seems the ideal way to experience life in another part of the world - and to allow you to do the same here!

We're open to suggestions as to where...

We are in the center of Israel, beside Rehovot - 10 mins drive from the Weizmann Institute, 40 mins from Tel Aviv and 50 mins from Jerusalem.
We live in a farming community, where they grow flowers, olives, citrus fruits, bees, exotic fruits, vegetables, grapes and herbs.
The community is a mixed one with most farms now having 2-3 generations of family living on them. There are play parks within walking distance and in general, everything in Israel is within driving distance... :)
Almost everyone in Israel speaks English and you can drive from North to South in 7 hours - so come and explore the Red Sea, Dead Sea, Mediterranean Sea and the Sea of Galilee.... though ideally not all in one day!!!
