Notre maison

As you can see on the pictures, the building is very unusual inside Paris, Villa Corentin was a factory before the construction of 11 apartments. All the neighbors are friendly and know each other (most of them have children around 6-7 years old). You feel like in the countryside, it's very green and quiet. We have a terrace of 9 square meters where you can eat or rest when the weather is fine. We offer a beautiful place to stay in South Paris with the subway right on our corner. Our Parisian 1-bedroom apartment is ground-floor, comfortable, clean, and intimate. We have one bedroom, there is a living-room (2 more people can sleep on couch), and a remodeled kitchen with refrigerator/freezer, toaster, microwave/oven, washing machine/dryer and other appliances (but no dish washer). We have a bathroom with toilet separated. No problem for pets (if clean!). We have a parking with a scooter that you can use, it's a wonderful and easy way to move and it allows to discover the city under a different side. You have the possibility to have meantime the apartment next to ours (where 3 more people can sleep).

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. We are a friendly, easy-going couple in our mid-30s (Laurent & Lise-Laure). We will treat your home with the same respect that you will. I work in the cosmetic research (L'Oréal), and Laurent works for a US sport technology company (The Active Network). We have not done a home exchange before but would love to make this work for you and us. We would expect to arrange an exchange some way in advance in order to get to know our fellow exchangers via email first to see how best we can facilitate their stay in Paris. We speak French (of course!) English, Italian and Spanish.

The metro Porte d'Orléans (lign 4) is on our corner, which provides quick access to the center (10 min from Saint Germain des près ? 15 min from Châtelet and Musée du Louvre) and north of Paris (30 min Buttes Chaumont). You have also the tramway on the boulevard, a lot of buses and some Velib' (bicycle rental) just across the street. You have all commodities you need in the neighborhood: bakery, supermarket, bank, post-office, pharmacy.. Two beautiful parks: Montsouris and Cité Universitaire, 5 minutes walking. Ideal for runners. Restaurants, our advice: Good Chinese restaurant "Gourmet d'Asie" on the boulevard in front of the underground, you can take away. Good Indian restaurant "Vandan" in Rue Paul Fort (spicy food!!). Typical Brasserie "Paris Orléans" with good French food. Near Denfert-Rochereau, there is a street called Rue Daguerre with a lot of sympathic restaurants. Wine shop: "Nicolas" Boulevard Brune, nice seller and good advices. Shopping: rue d'Alésia (outlets) and all the Avenue du Général Leclerc (from Alésia to Denfert-Rochereau) Places to see: Catacombes (Denfert-Rochereau) - only if not sensitive! Be aware.. Square Montsouris, small street with amazing houses to see Butte aux Cailles, nice place for hanging around, bars and restaurants Fondation Cartier, contemporary exhibitions.
