Notre maison

Our apartment is located on the 3rd floor of a 1959 building, on a quiet street. It has 3 bedrooms overlooking a garden, and a large open kitchen / living / dining area opening onto a balcony. It is bright, well laid-out and pleasant to live in. All windows have double glazing. There is a double bed in our bedroom, a double bed in the guest room, and bunkbeds in the children's bedroom. The couch is convertible and can sleep two people. We can provide baby and toddler equipment: an umbrella bed, two high chairs, a stroller, etc, and there are plenty of toys, games and books (in French and in English) for children of all ages.

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. We are a French-Irish family. Alan is a 35 year old architect, Claire is a 32 year old assistant professor at the Sorbonne. We have two children, Lucile who is 5 and Toby who is 2.5 old, and a young baby girl. Lucile and Toby are well-travelled, well-behaved children, and will respect your property. We will look after your home and will make sure it's clean and tidy and everything is in perfect condition on your return. We have already done three successful exchanges and were delighted with the experience.

We live on a quiet street in a lively, mixed area of the city of Paris. The apartment is well-located. We are close to two metro lines, a number of bus stops, and a Velib (the bike share system) station. It's a 20 minute direct ride to Notre Dame and the Latin Quarter (metro line 4), and a 15 minute ride to the Opera and Galeries Lafayette area and the Champs-Elysées (line 12). A 15 minute walk up the hill will take you to the Bohemian quarter of Montmartre, with its wonderful panoramic views over Paris. There are a lot of cafés, restaurants and shops close by, and there is a market up the street three times a week.
