Notre maison

We live on the 2nd floor (third level) of a very quiet and charming building of the 1930's. Our flat is spacious (92 square meters), light and colorful and offers all amenities. Il is located inside Paris, with a very nice view over a green garden. All the family can eat in a very modern kitchen and rest in a comfortable, cosy living room. We also offer 2 toilets and 2 bathrooms. We have 4 bedrooms (3 single beds + 1 double bed + 1 extra bed if needed), so that 6 people can sleep in our home. Many games (including XBox and Wii) and toys are available for children from 10 to 20 (boys and girls). Come and enjoy for yourself!

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. My wife Chrystelle and I (Thierry) have three children, 2 boys (Hugo 18 and Robin 23) and one girl (Mathilde, 20). Chystelle is a teacher and I work as a director for a social organisation (Emmaüs). We are both true Parisians and really enjoy living in this city offering so many opportunities, including for children. We spent 5 years in Germany and the United States for professional reasons and we really like to travel and spend time abroad. We think that swapping homes is a great way to travel and discover other cultures. We have already experienced it several times in Spain, Corsica, Denmark, Germany, Belgium, Ireland and The Netherlands, and we really enjoyed it !!! And meeting our "swappers" was each time a wonderful experience! Now we want to be surprised by any proposition in Europe, France included! We no longer travel with our children, since they now tend to plan their own holidays with friends of theirs. So it's just the two of us!

The location is perfect, especially for families. Our flat is indeed located in a very peacefull and safe area, next to a charming typical Parisian park with playgrounds for children and close to two swimming pools (a 3mn and a 7mn walk). You can buy your groceries (high quality meat, fish, fruits and vegetables, wine, organic food and products) from typical Parisian shops around our place, not to mention the numerous delicious bakeries! And a supermarket right at the corner of our street offers everything you need. Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday are market days, that's also typical and very much enjoyable.!
Our flat is very close by foot to two metro stations (Chevaleret, line 6, and Bibiothèque François Mitterrand, lines 14 and RER C) that take you anywhere in Paris: direct to Gare Saint-Lazare, Gare de Lyon, Gare Montparnasse and the Eiffel Tower, to downtown-Châtelet (in 7 minutes), to Notre-Dame and even Versailles and its magnificent castle! If you like to go to the cinema, a movie theater offers 24 screens, with nice cafés, restaurants and pubs around just a 5 mn-walk from our home, along the Seine River, offerring also many animations at summer time. Chinatown is a 15 mn-walk with its typical shops and restaurants and also is a fancy place to go!
For joggers, Parc de Bercy is a close nice running tour.

There are lots of bars and restaurants in our area, and in summer you can enjoy more bars and restaurants along the Seine river just a 5mn-walk from our place!
The movie theatre MK2 Bibliothèque offers many movies (24 screens) to watch and the Bibliothèque Nationale François Mitterrand itself offers great exhibits and a large selection of books for students. The place itself (a forest in the middle to the city) is a must-see! If you're interested in movies, you should go to the cinémathèque française (great exhibits, books, DVD and classic films to enjoy) in the Bercy park.
It is very nice to walk or ride a bicycle along the Seine river to the city center (Notre Dame and Châtelet)
Un peu d'exercice
You can jog in the parc de Bercy or in the parc de Vincennes
