Notre maison

It's a 3-level house with garage in the basement. It's simple but large (170 m2) and comfortable. We built it in 2007.

There are 2 bathrooms, 2 WC, 3 single beds (each one for one person), 2 "double-beds" (each one for one couple), plus 2 mattresses we can put on the floor.

We can also let you a car: Peugeot 806 or Peugeot 307.

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. We are a French family of 2 parents (in our late thirties) and four children (7,5,3 years old for the girls, and 4 months for the boy). My husband (Pierre) and me (Christelle) have taken "holidays to bring up children" for six months, and we would like to use this time for a cultural discovery with all our little family. We would like to meet new people, new environment and to practise English exchanging our house with yours during 1-2 months between Nov. 1rst, 2010 and Jan 31, 2011 approximatively.

Pierre's sister and her husband live in our village and could help you if you had a problem with the house... in french or german because they don't speak english! However, in our neighboors, some speak English a little.

We live in Alsace, at the North-East of France, near Strasbourg.

As you can see on the little "house-made map" joined, Alsace is a central area in Europe and you could travel from our house to visit Paris, Germany, Belgium or Switzerland. Skying is also possible in "Vosges", "Schwartzwald" or "Jura". I'd add that our region is historiquely very rich: very nice houses "à colombages", specific culture (fifty % french, fifty % german because of three german occupations in 1870, 1914 and 1940), Middle-Age's castles in the Vosges mountain's, nice and old cities like Strasbourg, Colmar, Sélestat, Haguenau or Mulhouse.
See www.tourisme-alsace.com.

Nov, Dec and Jan are the coldest monthes (-10 to +10 C°) but in exchange, that Christmas period is very typical with the "marchés de Noël" (=Christmas markets) between Dec 1 and 26.

We live in a little village of 600 unhabitants, so you could easily know our neighboors (couples of the same age that us , with little children.)

There is a supermarket 10 mn driving.
