Notre maison

We live in a typical 19th century house only 15 minutes from downtown Paris, in the largest green belt area just outside of the city. We share the house with another small family of three who lives on the second floor (separate entrance). We have the benefit of a large private garden, a rare privilege even in this green neighbourhood. Our ground floor has the Master bedroom (25m²), living room (40m²), dining room (40m²), kitchen (25m²) and bathroom (with shower). The first floor contains two other spacious bedrooms and a large bathroom. Laundry room with washer and dryer is in the basement. The house is equipped with two TVs, Hifi and wireless Internet.

Practical household considerations: we are sure that you would expect us to take very good care of your home during our stay. We expect the same from you. We prefer non smokers (but you can smoke in the garden)

Optional reciprocal use of car: if you do not consider driving in Paris a challenge, and if you think we can drive safely in your area, we can work out this arrangement. We have a parking space inside the property.

Optional house cleaning: we have a house keeper who normally comes in once a week to do the major chores. To be worked out too.

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. We are a French-Cambodian family. You can see that influence in our home. I am a financial consultant in a Parisian firm, and in my spare time, run a small business in Asian arts. My wife is a marketer in an engineering firm. We have two daughters of 16 and 18. The elder one is in a business school in Paris. We have lived abroad (US, UK, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia...) and very much enjoy traveling. Because of our rather busy life style, we have chosen to live a bit outside of Paris, close enough to enjoy the great city, but without its inconveniences.

Please note that our daughters are allergic to animals therefore we cannot stay in your house if you have animals.

Meudon Bellevue is famous for its exceptional heritage and quality of life. Being much closer to Paris than Versailles, many historical figures and royalties had chosen this lush area to build their chateaux and parks, many of which can still be seen today. Many writers and artists have lived in Meudon (Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Céline, Wagner, Molière's wife...and Rodin's own house and museum can be visited) Our house is a bare two minute walk from the train which whizzes you to downtown Paris in just twelve minutes for two US dollars. On a sunny day, you can also take a stroll through the local pony club, cross the Seine river, and hop on the Metro in less than half an hour. Finally, if you are a fan of the Eiffel tower, the top half of it can be seen from our first floor bathroom.
