The surroundings are tranquil, as we lived in a little village with lots of greenery. The village is ten minutes by car from Tours, which is a very pretty town with lots of history. Both the Loire and the Cher river
pass through it, where you can walk through the medieval center, or visit chateaux, a cathedral, museums , etc. There are plenty of opportunities for shopping,
including boutiques, food shops, and flea markets. To relax, you can visit the pool or one of several parks.
At night, the town buzzes with restaurants, a concert hall, a theater, cafes, and more.
The peaceful and verdant countryside is ideal for bike trips, hiking, and leisurely strolls. You can visit, for example, the famous chateaux of the Loire Valley as well as
other historical sites. And don't forget to visit the caves to enjoy the great regional wines!
In short, it's impossible to run out of things to do in our calm yet fascinating region. If at some point you need some big-city excitement, you can take a high-speed
train (TGV - train de grande vitesse in French) to Paris in one hour.
