Notre maison

Our home has bags of character with all modern comforts. It is a stone Longere with one wall dating back to 1750. As its French name sugests it is a long house with 3 reception rooms. We have a large country kitchen and two sitting rooms one with a log burner. There are two double bedrooms, one with super king bed and one with two singles. Also a third single bedroom. Depending on the Season we also have a log cabin close to the house with double bed. Also 2 bathrooms. We have 3 kids ages 7-12 with all the associated bikes, toys etc also large trampoline. As we are 2km from the main dual carriage way through Brittany so you will have easy access to beaches and towns but the house is set in 2 acres of land so is beautifully peaceful.

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. We are Sarah and Andrew Kobrus and Beth, Alice and Jonathan with Phoebe and Wren our 2 labarador's. They are two lovely dogs, affectionate and well behaved. Although originally from England our kids are growing up internationals spending the past 9 years in the Middle East and now resident in France. We moved here 6 months ago and love it. We like walking, swimming, horseriding, eating well and making friends so Brittany is ideal. Yes it does rain more than Qatar especially this summer but the views around our house !!!!

We are close to a quaint and thriving village with baker, village shop, wine shop, bar restaurants and creperie. It has its own small market once a week. Brittany has fab food, fab beaches and incredible medieval towns and villages People are very friendly people, English is widely spoken. It is rural but also has two large university towns within 10 to 20 mins drive with all modern shopping and medieval centres with cobbled streets and weekly markets. There are several airports within 1hours drive, Lannion 20mins, Brest 1hr and Dinard 1.5hrs. Paris is 6 hours by car or the highspeed TGV stops at the nearby town of Guingamp and is 3.5hrs from Paris. This region is similar to Cornwall, England with a shared Celtic culture and artist colonies but without being spoiled by. It is like going back to rural England in 1960's but with all mod cons and French food and wine..
