Notre maison

My apartment is in the middle of the beautiful medieval village of Bormes les Mimosas. It is small, but comfortable and low-maintenance. The balcony seats 4/5, and has a lovely view over the roofs of the village, the coast and the islands of Levant and Port Cros. The building is very old, but the apartment has recently been renovated. There is a large bedroom with a double bed, and a tiny bedroom with two singles (just). Exchangers must be prepared to look after three friendly cats - I can't afford to put them in a cattery! Smoking OK on the balcony, preferably not indoors.
Fantastic beaches nearby, especially if you have your own transport.

Really hoping for 3 or 4 weeks in London, late July or August 2013.

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. This has been my holiday home for the past ten years, and is now my retirement home. I am British, but have spent 35 years teaching in Switzerland. I'm hoping to do lots of travelling, and home exchange looks like the best way to do it within my budget. Having been out of the UK so long, I would enjoy getting to know it again. I would happily take care of your pets and water your garden, etc. I'm currently looking for a 3 or 4-week exchange in the summer of 2013, but suggestions beyond that will be welcome.

Bormes les Mimosas (check out its website) is a delight in itself, but also an excellent base for touring: Nice, Cannes, Aix-en-Provence, Saint Tropez are all within easy reach, and there is plenty of good walking country along the coast and inland. It's best to come outside of main holiday times if you can, as the village and the roads can get very busy. It can get quite hot in summer, but spring and autumn are extremely pleasant, and there is plenty of sunshine even in winter. There are several excellent restaurants in the village, within a couple of minutes' walk.
