Notre maison

Hello, our holiday home, Rue de la Gare is the old village hotel when the village had a railway station. So it's big and roomy, we've completely renovated it a year ago, now it's all modern and furnished and fitted out for people to have a very comfortable and pleasant holiday.

Great big kitchen with all the mod cons, big dining room, huge open lounge with big telly, big French Doors to the rear of both sides of the house looking over the gardens. There's a huge tiled and walled terrace with a big built in barbeque and a big mature garden to three sides of the house, lots of big trees offering shade.

Bathroom with upright shower on both the ground and first floors. Four big bedrooms, two double, two twin, all rooms with large windows and shutters to keep the house airy and cool in the heat of the summer.

It's really nice, more details on our website.

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. We're Tynan and Christine and our two chlidren, Olivia and Oscar, six and one. We like peace and quiet with a few things to do for the kids locally.

I work in publishing, Christine is a lawyer, we're nice people and well behaved, honest.

Payzac is a small and friendly rural village, just barely big enough to have two small bars, one hotel with good restaurant, butcher, baker, newsagent, english speaking doctor, post office and a decent supermarket, all within walking distance.

Football pitch and tennis courts opposite, lake with sandy child friendly beach and lifeguards, waterslide, boating, restaurant and some sort ot zip line/tow rope/surfing/waterskiing for the brave types.

There's a small town ten minutes drive away with all the regular facilities and a big supermarket. The two regional centres of Limoges and Perigeuex are an hour's drive away with all the shops and attractions you could want.

Lots and lots of the historical sites and attractions that the Dordogne is rightly famous for to all sides.
