Notre maison

We have a large family house with a garden all around. On the ground floor you can enjoy our spacious living room and diningroom with an open kitchen. From the diningroom you can go to the wooden terrace and have some lovely meals ( BBQ). There is also a spare room with a sofa.
On the first floor you can find 5 bedrooms. The children's rooms are quite large with a mezzanine, and there are two bedrooms with a double-bed.

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. We are a family of five. My husband and I are teachers and we have three well-behaved sons : Arthur, 20, Léopold, 14 and Hector, 11. Arthur, who is a student isn't travelling with us anymore. We love outdoors activities, the sea and, of course, travelling. We're looking forward to visiting new places... We haven't done a home exchange before, we'd like to discover new countries as residents and are keen to make you discover our lovely one.

We live in a lovely village in Brittany. It's a historic place famous for being Chateaubriand's birthplace. You can visit the castle of his childhood. There are lovely restaurants and cafés too and we live at about 300 meters from the town center.
Combourg is about 30mns by car from the famous and busy city of Saint-Malo, its walls and its sandy beaches, and 30 mns from Le Mont Saint Michel (so well-known we don't need to say more about it!!!). Cancale, famous for its oysters, is quite close too. From Combourg, you can drive to the historic city of Dinan with plenty of interesting things to visit. Normandy can be reached very easily too, in around 2 hours the beaches of the Normandy landing. So, Combourg is ideally located as a touring base and we hope you'll appreciate our area as much as we do.
