En savoir plus sur nous

  1. My is CO of his business in London and I am a retired ceramic artist. We have had our house in France for nearly twenty years and have recently completed some renovations to it. We spend every summer there but are looking for a change of scenery for a couple of weeks in August this year. We would like somewhere within driving distance to France or Italy in a similar house and setting although would love a beach situation as well.
We would be with my sister and retired doctor husband and possibly a well behaved Tibetan terrier Betty.
We also have a flat in a lovely north London suburb walking distance of Regents Park and Marble Arch and an apartment in Langkawi, Malaysia with which we would also consider non simultaneous swaps.

The hamlet of Doissat consists of a few houses, a church and a châteaux. It is at the top of a valley in beautiful countryside perfect for walking and cycling. The medieval town of Belves is a ten minute drive and is a hilltop town with an ancient market Halle where markets are held twice a week. There is a large supermarket within a 15 minute drive.
There are a number of bastide towns in the surrounding countryside. The Dordogne river is close and provides canoeing and views of ancient châteaux. There are plenty of restaurants providing the local cuisine of duck and goose.
The nearest airport is Bergerac which is 45 minutes drive. Bordeaux and Toulouse are equal distance of 2 hours.
