Notre maison

It was love at first sight, when we saw this lovely old villa for the first time seven years ago. We have gently restored it to a wonderful pearl for our family. It is big and spacious, airy in scandinavian style with lots of whites, contrasts and splashes of colour. Some of the furniture is pretty old and must be handled with care.
There are three bedrooms upstairs in total: One master bedroom (bed is 180*200cm), and two childrens rooms (with two single beds, 90*200cm in our sons room, and one bed (80*200cm) in our daughters room). There is also a baby bed.
Downstairs is the kitchen and dining area, open and spacious with the terrasse right outside. There is a hobby/music room and also the tv/sofa room. There is a glass veranda that is very old and charming with a wine growing across.
There is a big green garden just outside with fruit trees and a beautiful big Magnolia tree.
The house is perfect for families with children of all ages with lots of toys, huge trampolin in the garden and swings and of couse a playhouse.
Bakery just around the corner for morning bread, is a danish must on the weekend. Come early, its very busy and popular. Right next to lies Netto, the supermarket.

We also have a second home on Moen Ulvshale, Møn) an Island 1½ hours from Copenhagen, 300m from the most beautiful Beach. It has 3 bedrooms (two double rooms, one room with 6 beds), a terrace, wild garden with playarea for children, barbecue, hammock, full kitchen and so on). Møn´s klint is a World heritage area with beautiful chalk Cliffs risu+ing from the sea with nature and wildlife, wonderful for exploring the wild Danish nature. View:

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. We are a family of five, Henrik 41 Mechanical engineer, Claudia 40 a doctor and training to be an general practitioner, William 11 Katarina 9 years old and Natalie 4 years. We sometimes persuade my wonderful mother in law Bente of 67 years to come with us on Holiday.
We love travelling and showing the world to our children. We would absolutely prefer to live personal in a local house with space and outdoors possibilities. We would be very gentle and careful with your house and things and treat it as our own. We tried swapping with Léscala, Barcelona and Valencia. We think this is a much nicer way to travel, than living in a hotel.

Localisation

Quartier

It is located ten minutes walk from great shopping, malls, cinema, cafes and small cosy shops. The subway from here takes 12 minutes to Copenhagen centre with wonderful museums and city life. 10 minutes to the beach in Klampenborg by car. You can go running, mountainbiking just around the corner in Lyngby, Bagsvaerd and Virum. We recommend that you see Tivoli, Bakken, Stroeget, Bellevue beach, Frilandsmuseet, Nyhavn, Christiania (its an absolute must!), Glyptoteket, Karen Blixens house, Louisiana (museum). I could keep going. If you are nature lovers you should go north to the wild and windy beaches in Hornbaek, Gilleleje or just go for a drive along the coast to the further cliffy northwest coast. You should also visit Kronborg castle i Helsingoer - Shakespeares inspiration to Hamlet... Hilleroed is also a pearl with castles and history. The best icecream-parlour is Paradis, down in Lyngby centre, and the biggest ice-cream (you must go!!!) is in Hellerup centre on Strandvejen. Its called Ludorfs and its only 10 min away in car. You can eat your icecream as you stroll the 250 m down to the little beach in Hellerup... Denmark is very small and compact and its very safe to be in. Everything is close to each other here at Sealand, with small distances. Take the freeways when you are going down south to fx Bon Bon land in Holme Olstrup or Jutland. It takes around 5-6 hours to drive to Legoland from us, unless you take the ferry from Odden to Ebeltoft.
