Notre maison

We have a lovely 3 bedroom split entrance home overlooking Livingstone's Pond. We have a deck off the kitchen that allows us to enjoy the views. Our home, built in 1999 has a wood stove in family room and electric central heat throughout. Wood floors and tile are in main living space and bedrooms, while the family room has carpet. We have many windows taking advantage of southern exposure. Exchanges would be of interest starting the fall of 2009.

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. We are a family of 6; mom, dad, both 39, and 4 very wonderful children ages 6,9, 9, and 11. I am a teacher and my husband works for Transport Canada. We will be enjoying some time in British Columbia this year so we can experience life on the West Coast, and visit relatives and good friends. We would be interested in house exchanges from the fall of 2009 and on. We are environmentally consciencious, and respectful of others. We would love to find like-minded people who would care for our home with the love and respect we would theirs. We are open to exchanges throughout the year.

We live about 10 minutes from the village of Port Hood. One of many beautiful beaches is just a 2 minute drive away and the Trans Canadian Trail System is but a hop, skip and a jump away; perfect for hiking, running, walking and skiing. If Scottish culture is your thing, we are minutes away from local square dances, fiddler's matinees, and a wide range of other cultural opportunities. For day trips, there is the Cabot Trail, the Alexander Graham Bell Museum and Fortress Louisbourg. If you enjoy rural life, and the abundance of natural surroundings, Cape Breton is the place to be. Tranquil, quiet, invigorating. Exchanges will be considered starting the fall of 2009.
