Notre maison

Great base for all your travel in N.S.W. and across Australia. There is good access to Canberra via direct flights from Singapore with Singapore Airlines. Qatar Airlines has direct flights to Canberra from Europe via Doha. Canberra International Airport is 10 mins drive from city centre and 25 mins drive from our house. Great access to Sydney and Sydney International Airport via buses leaving/arriving on the hour. House is close to buses giving frequent direct access to Canberra City and Belconnen Town Centre.

We have set up one wing of the house just for you.
It includes a very modern kitchen with walk in pantry, spacious living/dining area, large bedroom with queen sized bed and storage for your use only, new bathroom and laundry. You will be able to relax in the shady, fern filled courtyards in summer and the sheltered, sunny courtyards in cooler weather.

The house is situated in a quiet and friendly street within walking distance of 2 supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants, bakery, doctors surgery, dental surgery and pharmacy.

Canberra is the national capital of Australia. It has many features to delight those after a foodie experience, including truffle and olive farms and many wineries. Restaurants for all cuisines abound. Arts and Crafts are important elements- the Powerhouse Glass Works is a standout, as are the many galleries and weekend markets.
Want to see KANGAROOS??? Canberra has an abundance of them!! They can be seen frequently as you travel around the areas near our house.
Canberra is known as the "bush capital" and many environmental/nature pursuits are on the outskirts of the suburbs. Original bushland has been left throughout the neighourhoods to provide natural experiences at your finger tips. Travelling a bit further afield can find you in the snowfields or at the beach.
Sport is a major part of the culture with many golf courses dotted around the city. The Australian Mountain Bike Championships are often held here due to the amazing facilities for this sport. Teams of the major football codes are based here. Our suburb has broad oval spaces for the residents to run and play at their leisure.
Of course, some of the major draw cards are the national institutions located here including The Commonwealth Parliament, War Memorial, National Library, Art Gallery and High Court. Science and Education are key components of the national capital including CSIRO, Questacon, ANU and University of Canberra.
From Sept 2016 Canberra International Airport will service flights between all areas of Australia and Singapore.
